5Solid performance
By Steve
(Wedding and University DJ) Ive had mine for 6 months, and run them hard. They run warm but have never overheated and never get too hot after HOURS of pounding.I do keep an eye and lower the gain when I see the limit light come on. I used to watch over my Mackie SWA-1801s in the same manner but ran into tons of problems with those, be it the driver or the amp. I can say that compared to my mackies these have more solid, clean bass without the "WOOF" reverberating noise, which is good.Main reason I purchased these was so I can do gigs alone while keeping my crowds happy with tons of bass. They are a manageable ~80lbs and at a size that you can move around by yourself without a helper.Long long ago we had Cerwin Vega earthquakes. These JBLs don't punch you in the chest as good as those but the JBLs play better sustained bass notes. Great buy.

5Powerful Bass!
By Jonathan Wang
Anyone looking to add more bass to their professional sound system should seriously consider this product. The first time I tested it, I turned it up not even all the way, and the lights started rattling in their enclosures! I use this sound system primarily for parties, and the crowd loves the bass provided by this speaker.

5Great Sub and Mobile
By Phil
This is a great sub. I have 2, and even 1 can work for a small venue. It goes lower than other active subs. I have heard the plain 618S, and it is definitely not as loud as the 618S-XLF. When I got my second sub, I tested both of the XLFs together. One of the fluorescent lights in my living room couldn't handle the vibration and shorted out.

5mbrp
By daniel hoover jr
Honestly the removal of the factory exhaust system is way harder than the instalation of the MBRP system I had one issue with the kit I receive and that was that the mid pipe after the muffler was too long I assumed this is because its a universal system for the four, and two door jeeps a sawzall fixed this problem pretty quickly. Install took two hours on the ground and two wrenches no problem it was easy.Update:Okay so I've had the system for a while now and i have had one issue, the hangers that came on the MBRP slip off the factory hangers they go to, i fixed it by welding a washer on the end of the after market hanger, and this doesn't change my rating or recommendation of this product just something to keep in mind.

5Awesome Exhaust
By Nate
This exhaust is badass. I went through the Dynomax Evo Exhaust and Dynomax VT before settling on this one. This exhaust will definitely stay on my Jeep this time. The sound is great. Its not too loud but its definitely there. No drone at 2000 RPM's like the dynomax evo did. I needed to relocate the exhaust due to coilovers so this was a great option. Buy this exhaust and you definitely won't be disappointed. I didn't have any fitment issues like i was reading with the earlier versions of this kit.

56 stars
By WB
Daniel is dead on, removing the stock exhaust was a pain- had to soak the clamps in wd-40 to break the rust, and still ended up cutting one off. However, once the clamps were loosened, I stopped throwing wrenches and cursing, and everything went very smoothly. New exhaust fit perfectly on a '07 jk 4 dr unlimited x. It sounds very aggressive, and I paired it up with a Banks ram air intake and the performance improvements between the two are very noticeable. Off road clearance was really just an added bonus.

5Dynamite self-powered speakers
By J. Layton
I own a small sound company and do everything from from small dances to 1000+ gigs. I have owned several of the JBL speaker line-ups: JRX, MRX, and the NEW PRX. I also own EAW and Yamaha. I picked up these and the 635 for more simple jobs that don't need a stack of amps, processors, etc. I knew the earlier versions of the PRX line had some amp shut-off problems. My experience with the newer updated line is flawless so far. I read the Pro Audio boards and I see no problems with the updated versions of the PRX line. I really like the smoothness of these cabs. You can get away with little of no EQing although more experienced engineers always want to tweak. They really do sound nice. No...they don't negate a couple of subwoofers if your material requires it. Never buy into the reviews that say "with these speakers" you don't need subs. It ain't so.

2Bitter Sweet they Overheat
By Sarah Smith
I bought these speakers to fill up larger rooms. We have an interactive entertainment company that frequently is set up in gymnasiums, outdoors, etc. I wanted to have an easier setup than having to put up multiple speakers. With 1500 watts I thought for sure that I had found my solution. I do some local DJ work periodically this time of year so I decided to test them out. My first setup was in a practice gym at a community college. When I first turned them on and tested them out, I was floored at how precise and crisp the sound was. I had them hooked up to one sub but I considered not even using it because I had used my old JBL EON's in this room before and hadn't pushed them too far so I figured having 3 times the power would be more than sufficient. About three quarters of the way into the 3 hour dance, one speaker turned off. I wasn't redlining anything according to the mixer and the limiter light wasn't ever blinking to indicate things were heating up. I had to leave it off for about two songs before it would turn back on. I did two other jobs this last weekend and the same thing happened at one of the jobs. As much as I love the sound; and trust me, it's amazing, I have to send these back and get something different.

5JBL PRX 635 Speakers are working great for me!
By Pianoman54
I own a small sound company in Ohio, and I purchased my first pair of JBL PRX 635 powered speakers during March 2012, after reading TONS of reviews first. I was originally looking at the QSC KW 153 speakers, which are basically the same type of 3-way speakers and components. The problem I had, was that I needed something smaller that would fit in my smaller sound van (for small to mid size club gigs), which is a Ford Freestar van, with all the seats removed, and a plywood floor. The QSC KW 153's were 87 lbs, 43 inches tall, and had 2-500 watt Class D amps, divided between the 15" woofer and the mids and highs. It's a great speaker, though was to tall to stand up in my mini van. I DID also buy one pair of the QSC KW 181 subs though, because they were smaller than the JBL powered subs, and also came with castors on them! Then I happened to come upon these JBL's. I looked over the specs, and discovered that they were only a little over 36 inches tall, ONLY 60 lbs, and had 3-500 watt Class D amps, one for EACH of the 3 separate components. I began to read all the reviews, and was slightly concerned because quite a few people wrote that they had problems with them shutting down from overheating. I always try my best to "weed through" many of these reviews, by attempting to determine the "audio expertise" of the authors. It's also pretty well known that many competing companies often actually ask their employees and friends to purposly write "bad reviews," for any new products that might take some of their business. After all this research, I took a leap of faith in JBL, and purchased 2 of these speakers. I used them for over 80 gigs from March 2012 through December 2012, WITHOUT a single problem..., and by the way, they also sound GREAT!! During December 2012, I decided it was time to begin replacing the 20 year old passive EV-Sonic 3020 main cabinets (each cabinet is 2-15's, 2-10's, horn & tweeter, and 200 lbs each!!), and my passive EV-Sonic matching dual 18 Subwoofer cabinets (2-18's each, and each about 180 lbs!), in my larger Ford Econline van. btw...I'm also 59, and though these these cabinets always sounded great, and have served me well, they are MUCH harder to move than 20 years ago...Ha! I decided to purchase a 2nd pair of the JBL PRX 635 speakers, and 2-Seismic Audio single 18" Enforcer subs, that I'm powering with a QSC PLX 3402 in bridge mode, netting between 1500-1700 watts for each single sub at 4 ohms. I have used this new system now since the last week of December 2012 (6 live gigs so far), and it not only kicks, but is clean with lots of headroom, and just sounds SO musical when I mic up the live bands! I am going to purchase one more pair of JBL's and another pair of the subs in a few more months, so that I will have 4 of each in my larger van for larger gigs this summer. This will also allow me to bring both of my vans for larger shows, and have 3-subs, and 3-JBL's on each side of the stage (which I can't even imagine yet, as just TWO of each sound awesome!). btw...The first thing I did when I bought my new JBL speakers, was to also pay the extra money for the nice JBL covers. Between that, and the fact that I treat my gear right, and DO NOT handle it roughly, I'm hoping that this new gear will last me until I retire! So far, everything is great, and my back is also feeling better (Ha!), so thanks to JBL!With regards,Gary / The Music Shoppe

4Good jacket for cool, rainy weather
By K. Cope
I bought this jacket because when the weather is cool and rainy (40's and 50's) my rain shell is just not warm enough and too small to fit a fleece under. This works nicely for that type of weather. You can also layer a sweater or very thin fleece under it was well for extra warmth but be aware it will be tight if you do since the fleece lining will "stick" to whatever you wear underneath. I wore a Patagonia women's sweater layered underneath this in Portland, Oregon during Feb. while the high was around 35 degrees and we had intermittent rain and sleet. It performed quite nicely but was a pain to get on and off. My only complaint is the hood and collar. The hood is nice to have but the collar is stiff and sticks up and if you don't need the hood and roll it up and tuck it into the collar, it's just too bulky to be comfortable, also the velcro on the hood sticks to everything (like cloth seat covers). Also, I'm about 5'5" and around 130lbs and purchased the medium which fits perfectly on it's own and has a nice fitted cut to it, if you plan to layer, you might want to consider a size up. Now that Spring has arrived and the temps are rising and the rain has moved in, this is the perfect jacket.

4Wow. These rock, but the limiters won't save them.
By GD
The quality is great, sounds all pro, deep, rich, just fantastic. I found myself cranking Joe Satriani just to see if the limiters kicked in sufficiently, and oops, too late, I blew the speaker. Thankfully AUDIO WATT replaced it, no problem. I had to pay $45 to ship it but they paid to ship it back. Very fair. So, if you rent them, which I do, better tell the renter if they blow them up they have to pay for them. Once again, they are so loud it should not be a problem, I'd say 110db no problem. BTW, check out the Carvin higher end stuff, costs less, sounds as good, and the limiters limit.

5$$Great Rail for the Money$$
By pornelas
This rail is quality for half the price. I installed them on my midlength AR-15 without any problem and the best part is that it came with the rail protectors which I was not expecting. The rail is a bit heavy but for the price I can live with it. I will be buying this item for my next AR build.

5Excellent quad rail.
By Mark B Lemmermann
I have been in the gun industry since 1999, and I have come across many rails that were all of exceptional quality and durability. The UTG rail is added to that list and what makes this rail more consumer friendly is that the user can install it in a matter of minutes with regular tools. No need to break the gun down and have a gunsmith do it adding to the cost. A great rail at a great price and user friendly that's money in the bank!

4Great Speakers - Extremely Versatile
By Alpha Helix
Overall, I'd like to give these bad boys a solid 4.5 star rating. JBL has really come a long way with the 600 series. Allow me to give some history and then review the PRX612m.I purchased two of these units for a mobile DJ setup. Keyword here is MOBILE, and I was looking for a speaker that satisfied a few requirements. Here is what you get with this guy: - Almost effortless setup - the amp is built into the speaker, so no need to pair with other amps or spend more money. - Multiple uses out of the box, use it as a main PA speaker, monitor, wedge monitor(not so great for this, more on this later) and pair it with a standalone line mixer or use the volume control on the speaker itself. - Dual Pole Mount - Naturally these guys should be pole mounted and any height around 7-10 feet is great. Now if you are trying to get these to spread out then you can mount them in the traditional setting in which they are perfectly level on the pole and facing outward. However, on this model there is a second setting (built in, no need to do any adjustments) which allows you to angle the speaker downward. I've found this particularly amazing when using this for a short-throw dance floor speaker, or even as a background speaker for seated/dinner music. - Lightweight - The speaker comes in under 35lbs. I mean 1000 watts with a professional (not carpeted) casing - you really can't go wrong. - Clarity of Sound - This is actually very important. All the other things don't matter squat if the sound coming out of your speakers is not clear. This speaker has extremely clear sound from the horn, and very tight & controlled bass. Of course it is not going to give you the same bass that an 18" sub will, and if you want that then simply pair it w/ the subwoofer as I do. However, the bass on this unit is extremely substantial for a unit that is so small. You can definitely feel the bass when in close proximity, and when paired with a standalone sub - the sound/feel is incredible. - Excellent Headroom - So far I've been running these guys at 1/2 power (12 o clock on the volume dial) and running my sound board at about 30%. They really hold it down. When you need to squeeze a little extra juice out of them - they give it to you without becoming muffled, muddy or distorted. This is a big plus for those times you really need to go that extra mile.So here are some important tidbits that you should know before purchasing these. As any piece of technology will have it's shortcomings, so do these (but I am really nitpicking here). These guys perform best when pole-mounted. I feel the best mounting height is 7-10 feet. Higher is better if you want to mount the speaker angled downward. I use the Ultimate Support stands which are rock solid and these are so lightweight you really don't need a super heavy duty stand. I've put 90lbs monsters on the ultimate stands and they hold nicely. With these speakers you have to be careful how you use them as a monitor. I've found that if you put them directly on the floor (in the wedge position), they are not going to work so good if you are close up (kind of like how a singer is on stage). If you are about 12 feet away, the throw of the speaker is pretty good - but if possible, these should be pole mounted, or at least wedged on a table which is around 3-4 feet off the ground. I am 6' tall so these are the measurements that I like when using these as a monitor. This will vary for others. That is really the only critique I can offer, as I feel everything else is better than could be expected and I am really enjoying these speakers. So far I've run them a few times for around 6-8 hours at a time and they run strong, smooth and are very reliable.I am sure you will enjoy them if you get them. I've noticed that a few people have had problems with the units being defective or not working properly. Thankfully, I haven't had any problem. I purchased these new through Guitar Center, and immediately put them in the JBL fitted cover to keep them protected. If you do order online, I would strongly suggest doing it directly through Amazon or an authorized seller who you know will cover you if the unit comes damaged in the mail. Amazon is exceptionally good for those things, so I make it a point to always check their prices before I purchase elsewhere. Obviously sending a 40lbs box through the mail can sometimes mess things up regardless of the amount of padding around the speaker. I've had bad experiences with shipping companies as well.Product wise - a solid 4.5. JBL hit a homerun with this speaker!

5Clear and Loud Speakers!
By Robert
I have had 2x 612's and 2 x 618 xlf's and they sound phenomenal!! These 612's really throw the sound out there, and are some of the best speakers I have ever heard. I have the volume on them at 12 O'clock, and 1/4 dial on the volume on my Mixer is Loud! The Highs and Mids are Crisp and Clear, and the Bass is Thumpin! With a nice low weight, and a built in handle, these are perfect for the Mobile DJ.2 x 612's (Small Gig Approx. 40 Persons)2 x 612's plus 1 x 618XLF (Medium Gig Approx. 40 - 100 Persons)2 x 612's plus 2 x 618XLF's (Large Gig Approx. 100 and More Persons)(Possibly a Large Outdoor Event)Highly Recommended!

5Great Sounding Speakers
By Philip D Hart
These speakers have blown me away. I previously owned the Tapco Mackie TH-15A Thumps and they can't even come close to these speakers. I have been a Disc Jockey over 8 years and I've never heard a better speaker then this. I totally promote these speakers for the Professional Dj.

1Cute and adorable, but sizing is a big issue and construction of the costume is faulty
By Mary J. Powell
Everything with the company that sells this product is 5 star, the main issue we have is with the construction of this piece. (we did not have the option to return the item or we would have) For starters, the 2T-4T sizing was too small for my 2 year old. The body of the costume was short by an inch which left no room for comfortable movement. The head was so big that it would fit and adult, the head flopped around and did not stay in place. I had to sew several points to reinforce the tail and seams, I altered the crotch area to make it longer and fit properly, I also stitched the head onto the back of the costume body to become a "hood". The product shown in the picture is not what you get, the bottom of the feet are made with elastic, yes we know they are for over shoes, we were looking for something for indoor use and the slipper like bottoms was an appealing point in our purchase. The points on the head are really short compared to the picture, and again the "head" fits properly. If you are purchasing this item know that the sizing runs really small for toddlers.

3Sizing definitely an issue
By jsheep
Our 2.5 year old son really wanted to be a dinosaur for Halloween this year. We really liked the look of this costume and it seemed like the reviews helped a lot with the sizing. He wears mostly 3T clothing, so based on everyone's suggestions, we ordered up, getting the 4T-6T. It is enormous! The legs and arms have an extra 5 inches of fabric that I will have to hem up, and the head piece is big enough to fit me. My son was very disappointed, but with a little help from a crafty grandmother, we are going to try to make this work!

5Halloween Costume
By fbreaux
This costume was everything that we hoped it would be. We live in Alberta so winters here can get pretty cold, but our 6 month old sone was nice and toasty in his costume. He looked so adorable. Probably wouldn't recommend it for a 12 month old. Our son is very tall for his age(29 inches) and there is no way that I can see it fitting a 1 year old unless they are very small.

5Amazing cleat, surpasses anything I've owned before
By Mat
New Balance has become the sole provider of my cleats with this shoe. Light, reasonably priced, and looks sick. This shoe feels like it was custom made for my foot when I put it on. It doesn't feel like a typical cleat in that you don't have the pressure points on the soles of your feet most cleats usually do. Comfort, style, price and weight are all 5 star rating from me.

1Wrong shoe sizing
By MikieZ
I have a wide foot (it doesn't measure out to be wide, but only wide shoes are comfortable). I don't understand it either...I just accept it. My 10 year old softball shoes are a NB 502 (10.5 4E) they fit great but are wearing out. Bought a pair of Nike Keystone "wide" and they were to tight. I then spent two weeks researching foot sizing and shoe sizing...looking for the perfect pair of shoes. Every chart I saw said a 10.5 "D" foot is 4.1" wide and an "E" foot is 4.3" wide. At the widest point mine is only 3.8". To be safe I ordered these "EE" shoes. THE SHOES ONLY MEASURES 4.0" ACROSS AT THE WIDEST POINT. At the wide point, by the little toe, this MF-002 last then takes a nasty angle and heads straight for the big toe, they really pinched my poor little toes. The New Balance web site (I told you I researched this) says the MF-002 last has a "roomy toe box"...not! I don't get it. How can shoes that are supposed to be a "EE" measure out to be less wide than an "E" foot width? After I post this review I will be contacting New Balance, I intend to ask them the same question. Don't get me wrong. The reason for the one star is not the quality of the shoes. If you have a "normal" foot, these look to be great shoes. My dissapointment is all about the misleading sizing...and the fact that I was forced to wear my old beaters to a tournament this past weekend.

3Undersized
By John Mix
The shoes seem to be nicely made but they are horribly undersized. It appears that they're almost 1 size too small. I've returned and reordered an entire size larger and hope that it wasn't just the specific pair of shoes that was too small.
