Not Where You Would Expect It

This is designed and sold as a culinary sink. I needed a small sink with a goose-necked faucet for my garage at home. This stainless steel model is a gem. The fittings are well-placed. The sink was easily wall-mounted.

Incredible

I replaced my traditional 10-speed derailleurs with this setup about 3 years ago and have nothing but great things to say about it! It is built really solid, I really like the clean look and reduced maintenance of gear hubs.I ride at least 10 miles a week in all kinds of weather in Seattle. Several times a year I'll also go on long rides ranging up to 80 miles. I stripped the hub after 2 years and the grease inside looked like new, it probably could have gone 5 years without service. If you have money to burn also consider the Afline 11, it's lubricated in an oil bath rather than grease; you can remove a setscrew/plug to change the oil like just like a car.Shimano SG-S700 Alfine Disc Hub (Black, 36H 11 Speed CenterLock Disc)If you do want to take the hub apart for maintenance, it's not too tough if you're accustomed to working on bikes. The toughest part is removing a C shaped lock ring. This will allow you to pull the core gear assembly from the shell of the hub.If you buy this wheel you'll also need the small parts kit and Alfine indexed shifter. Shifter options are rapid-fire style, twist-grip style, and Jtek Engineering makes a bar end shifter that is indexed for the Alfine 8.Shimano Small Parts Set for SG-S700 Alfine (Alfine S700)Shimano SL-S700 Alfine Trigger ShifterShimano SL-8S20-A Nexus Revo Shifter - Right, 8-Speed, Black[...]The Alfine hub has 135mm axle length and may be tough to fit between tightly spaced dropouts. I had to muscle the dropouts of my bike apart to get it to fit.

Really couldn't be happier. I have around 200 miles or so on this rim and hub and no problems. I know it'll take a while for anything major, but short term its awesome. I like the low maintenance hub and the reflective coating on the rim is awesome. Just what you need if you are a commuter and ride when its dark.

Nice unit for backup. This one only has 5400RPM drives. Thought all CalDigit were 7200RPM but not so. Works well and easy to configure.

portable ext. hard drive

Surprised how small this RAID unit is. Solid build. Easy menu to work on the hard drive or software on laptop. The fact that it's a dual drive @ 2 terabytes with removable drives makes it really a flexible unit to work with. I'm using it to down load photos from the field so it's great to be able to mirror all the photos on the second drive for security purposes. Plus it's bus powered. less cables in the field. Recommended for photography and video.
