By SarBear
I have a black lab that weighs about 80lbs. I have to admit, when this floater got to my house, I did not believe that it would hold her weight, but it does!!! She likes to be in the pool, when we are in the pool, but she would rather be held than swim. My sister has a little dog, and we found a raft that would hold her, so I did some checking. This was the only dog float raft that I found that would hold a dog her size. SO i bit the bullet and spent the money to get her a pink one. I will admit, at first, she didn't seem to care about it. And she would stand/lay on it funny and it would make a hot dog bun around her. Now that we have it figured out, she loves it. She always wants in the pool to just lounge around!!! And to answer any questions on how much a dog can weigh for it to hold them. My husband, who is over 6' tall and 250lbs of muscle climbed on it, and he had no problems with it floating for him.

By Debra E. Belanger
This is the second one we bought, we decided our first dog would like a bigger one and we now have a chihuaha pup who will use the little one, they last and hold up in the hot texas sun (and the chlorine in the pool) and they hold up to digging dogs LOL. They are a bit pricey but I have one on its second season and since before getting these I would go thru about 5 20.00 floats a summer with our dog putting holes in them or the sun wearing them out, its well worth the price.
