I originally bought the 33" size for my Great Dane, but it was way too big. This size fits her perfectly. She is fully grown, purebred and 130 lbs. The larger sized coats must be for wider dogs like Newfoundlands or St. Bernards. This is a nice, well made, heavy coat. Danes are very short haired, but since this coat is heavy we will only put it on her when the temp is cold. I'll have to get her a lighter coat to take the chill out of less cold weather. Great quality coat.
