This lamp arrived in fine condition, but it is a piece of junk. The lampshade will absolutely not sit straight no matter what I do to it (even in the image shown it isn't straight), the base of the lamp is chipped and the little blue ball at the top of the shade does not screw on. I am very disappointed with this lamp. I have other Guidecraft items and they are high quality and well-made, so I don't know why this lamp is so horrible. I am returning it immediately.

We have a Noah's Ark lamp from Guidecraft for our nursery that is very cute. We were therefore disappointed when this lamp arrived. It is poorly made (doesn't even sit flat) and pretty cheesy looking. It must be said that our two-year-old loves it, however.

I searched a few different sites and ended up going with this lamp, it's awesome! Its cute and its not cheap feeling and it came packed in 2 boxes with lots of protection around it. And it looks great in my sons room.
