Brand new bi color 500 led light panel range 3200-5600K with dimmer switch and V- Mount. These 500 LED video panel uses the 500 ultra bright, 5500K LED's and has an equivalent output of 500 watts of incandescent light yet draws about 100 watts. The 5500K daylight balanced LEDs offer a full spectrum, beautifully soft light.LED lights off significantly further "throw" than a comparable fluorescent light. This is because each of the 1000 LED lights has a 30 degree beam angle lens that directs light forward. So this little guy is recommended by everyone from cheesycam and the like, and, I have to say, IT IS WORTH IT! I own a small SMALL video production business and this thing is invaluable. Its compact size is awesome and it is light weight and, can even be backed in my pack if need be. It spits out ALOT of light (consider using a diffuser with this). It is a nice and cold light (no baking your talent's faces or hands when handling). If you are using for green screen, or as a key light, this thing has many many uses.

After months, of testing different types of lights that would allow me to take catalog quality pictures at home, I finally solved my problem by purchasing the 500 LED Light Panel With Dimmer Switch 12V AC DC 110V to 240VLED Video Lighting By Fancier 500A . This light offers the ability to control the height, angle and intensity of the light as needed for each item. The height is easy to adjust, the head moves with little effort and the handy dimmer makes it easy to control the light intensity. And, best part, the lights stay cool the whole time. When using other traditional lighting, I would have to take frequent breaks just to cool down. I also purchased the tripod at the same time I bought the light and while it works well as it came, it works even better now that I've hung a weighted sand bag at the bottom in the center of the legs to counter the weight of the light in case I bump it . . . I'm a little clumsey. Overall I highly recommend this light and will be purchasing another one in the very near future.

I bought three of these( the older single color model) and they work great. They are somewhat heavy so get decent stands. A few fellow camera guys have tried these and they have all since purchased some. I find them a little less than a 500 watt equivalent but that is fine for my purposes. I do like to add a bit of diffusion to keep the little dot pattern from burning into the talents eyes. Don't be afraid to get these lights really close to your subject when shooting interviews, there is no heat so go for it and dim down as required. Not super heavy duty construction but I treat me gear right.
